500g digestive biscuits
4 green apples
3 cups water
1 cup sugar
Grind the biscuits and add your melted butter, then stir until clumpy.
Remove your apple cores and slice each into 8 pieces.
Place water in a pot and boil, and then add sugar. Stir until dissolved and then add apples. Let them soak and simmer.
Grease pan with butter, then use biscuit mix to make base. Compact the mix tightly around the edges, roughly 1cm thick, then place apples in mould.
Pour a cup of your syrup from the pot onto the apples and use the rest of the biscuit mix to cover the apples. Bake for 30 min at 350° F (175° C).
