Fine Arts Showcase talent at Arabian Gulf Art Exhibition

Fine Arts Centre of Students Affairs Department at Ajman University of Science & Technology organised an exhibition in collaboration with Sharjah Culture and Arts in Eastern Region, at the Sharjah Collection of Arts, it was held at Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Khorfakkan.


The exhibition featured 150 unique artwork created by 66 male and female students of Ajman University. They were encouraged by the presence of Dr. Abdul Haq Al Nuaimi, Director Community Services who was there to grace the opening ceremony. Ajman University provides the ideal platform through the Fine Arts Centre, where regular workshops and courses are conducted for interested students.

“The fine arts center specializes in oil painting, graphics, pastel painting, arts and crafts, pottery and sculpture” explained Ms. Mona Jibali. She also elaborated, “The Fine Arts Center hones the talents of its students and introduces them to the public in the form of solo and group exhibitions within the UAE and abroad. It also encourages its members to participate in competitions on national and international level”.
