Cirque du Soleil ‘Dralion’ hits DWTC

Alchemy Project is delighted to announce that due to the high demand and amazing response Cirque du Soleil extended their performance with Dralion in Dubai until February 17th, adding eleven more shows, at the World Trade Center, organized by Alchemy Project in association with Dubai Calendar.

Cirque du Soleil previously visited Dubai in 2009 with Alegria, and this marks the first time that Dralion will perform in the Middle East.
Fusing the 3000 year-old tradition of Chinese acrobatic arts with the multidisciplinary approach of Cirque du Soleil, Dralion (pronounced “Dra-lee-on”) draws its inspiration from Eastern philosophy and its never-ending quest for harmony between humans and nature. The show’s name is derived from its two emblematic creatures: the dragon, symbolizing the East, and the lion, symbolizing the West.

In Dralion, the four elements that govern the natural order take on a human form. Thus embodied, each element is represented by its own evocative colour: air is blue; water is green; fire is red; earth is ochre. In the world of Dralion, cultures blend, Man and Nature are one, and balance is achieved.

Cirque du Soleil mission is to invoke the imagination, provoke the senses and evoke the emotions of people around the world. They managed to accomplish that in their absolutely brilliant and exciting show they put up for the people of U.A.E. Vibrant colors and flamboyant drapes adorned the super flexible and talented artists. The live orchestra and superb lights aggravated the awesomeness, a MUST WATCH!
